FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS:

RUNNING HORSE® Golden Senior horse feed is designed to provide complete, balanced nutrition for the unique needs of the senior horse. Highly palatable and digestible ingredients make it a complete feed for the horse that may not be able to eat hay.

When fed with hay: Feed RUNNING HORSE® Golden Senior to horses at a rate of 0.4 to 0.8 percent of bodyweight or at a rate of 2 to 4 pounds per 500 pounds of bodyweight.

When fed without hay: Feed RUNNING HORSE® Golden Senior to horses at a rate of 1.4 to 1.8 percent of bodyweight or at a rate of 7 to 9 pounds per 500 pounds of bodyweight.

Feeding rates depend heavily on the quality of forage, activity level, age, breed, temperament, special needs, and individual metabolism of each horse. Feeding a minimum of 1% of bodyweight in forage is highly recommended. Supply fresh feed daily. Feed horses regularly. Divide the total daily amount of RUNNING HORSE® Golden Senior into at least two feedings spread evenly throughout the day. Changes in rates of feeding or type of feed should be made gradually. Hay should be of excellent quality. Fresh, clean water should be available at all times. Do not feed old, moldy, or insect infested feeds as they may cause illness, abortions, or death. Store in a cool, dry place.
